Trailer Wars is an event where local film makers create movie trailers for movies that do not exist. These trailers are based off of a theme. For trailer wars XXI the theme was ghosts. Everyone gets together and watches the submissions at the local independent movie theatre, The Pickford Film Center. The audience then votes on which trailer should win. I had never attended this event but one night found myself at The Pickford with a friend. Someone brought up the upcoming trailer wars, mentioned that they were looking for an idea for a ghost trailer and then asked everyone to keep their thinking caps on and to forward any good ghost ideas to him.
Well I started thinking. I came up with a good idea. I kept it. I won Trailer Wars XXI.
